Manufacturing Leadership Council Annual Meeting

The Manufacturing Leadership Council Annual Meeting, which will be held on June 9, the final day of the Manufacturing Leadership Summit, is designed for current and prospective members of the Manufacturing Leadership Council.

What is the ML Council Annual Meeting?

It is the annual occasion for Council members to make important decisions regarding the Council's strategic plan for the year as well as to network and develop relationships with other Council members.

The strategic plan that will be developed, called the Critical Issues Agenda, consists of the key leadership, organizational, and technological issues the Council votes on as most important for leaders in manufacturing for the coming year. These critical issues become the focal point for all Manufacturing Leadership Council research, Council conference calls, and content developed for the Manufacturing Leadership Journal during the year following the Summit.

The Council Annual Meeting also consists of the following:

ML Council Progress Report: Council members are updated on membership, new services and products, and upcoming Council events, meetings, and publications.
Open Forum: Council members introduce themselves, describe their roles in their companies, explain what their companies manufacture, and state how they would like to work with other Council members.
Decision Compass Group Reports: Decision Compass Group Reports: Council members provide an update on what has transpired during the past year in each of the Decision Compass special interest groups Next Generation Leadership, Supply Networks, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing IT, and Workforce Development.
The Council Annual Meeting at the Manufacturing Leadership Summit is an important time for all Council members to exercise their privileges as Council members. Be sure to attend!

Who can attend the ML Council Annual Meeting?

This day of networking and meeting is reserved for Council members. However, if you or your company is interested in membership, attending select activities on this day can be arranged by special request. Many companies find this day very insightful for understanding the value members derive from participation in the Council.
