One of the Youngest Professional CEO, Ramashankar Pandey is the Managing Director of Hella India Lighting Ltd. since Year 2010. Winner of Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award for 2016 in Promising Category, he is an alumni of NIT Calicut, ICFAI Hyderabad and IIM Bangalore. He also completed AIMA’s flagship Global Advance Management Program by University of California, Berkeley at Silicon Valley. With more than 18 years of Entrepreneurial and "Turn Around" experience in the Auto Component Industry with 15 Years in leadership position, having versatile experience both in OEM and Aftermarket Industry fields. As a BOSCH Alumni, his core area of interest is “Technology” and “People Development”. Joined Hella Asia Singapore in 2006 to lead its Indian Aftermarket start-up and later joined the board of Hella’s Indian manufacturing unit “Hella India Lighting ltd.” in 2009 and successfully turned around its Special OE Business. Giving a new vision altogether, “Technology of Tomorrow for the Life of Today on Indian Roads”, he achieved the Business Model Innovation for the company and won many Industry recognition including “ACMA Award for Quality & Productivity”, “Auto Component of the Year-2015” by CV Magazine and “ Excellence in Lighting Technology” by International Centre of Automotive Technologies. Founder member of Knowledge Charity NGO Prayaas Bangalore, he is also passionate and actively engaged to fight the menace of alarming Road Deaths on Indian Roads by steering various road safety awareness campaigns as president-CWC of “Drive Smart, Drive Safe” organisation. He is also Jury member of AIMA’s National Competition for Young Managers-2016. Additional to his Managing Director Role for India, He is also head of Global Project “Regional Diversification” at Hella Germany for Special OE Division where he works very closely with US Market.
